  • Homework Projects - Autumn Term

    Our students have produced homework projects based on topics that they have been studying throughout the term. Reception and Year 1 studied minibeasts and transport, year 2 and 3 studied The Great Fire of London, year 4 and 5 studied Lighthouses and Year 6 studied bridges and famous landmarks.  

     

    Once again we were blown away by the standard of work that was produced. This work was displayed in an exhibition where children acted as guides to friends and families to give a more in depth explanation of their learning.

  • Daniel Weatheritt - Big Library Event

    We had an amazing day celebrating the unveiling of our new library. Daniel Weatheritt, a famous local Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Author came into celebrate alongside us, we created nautical themed illustrations, books and sketches and shared our favorite stories with our families who came into see our incredible new school library. 

     

    Daniel very kindly added his own stamp to our lighthouse's using permanent chalk! 

  • Leavers and Graduation Assemblies - 2018

    Over the last few weeks the corridors at Seahouses Primary School have been a buzz with excitement and music in preparation for the leaver and graduation assemblies. The children have worked extremely hard to practice and perfect their performances. The staff have been astounded by the talent, dedication and work ethic that the children have shown during this time. Our assemblies were a celebration of not only our year 6 leavers and reception graduates but whole school attendance, attainment, achievement and new for this year our aspire award. We would like to say a huge congratulations to every pupil in school, you should be so proud of yourselves and each other! 

  • Year 6 Prom - 2018

    Our year 6 students came together with some neighbouring schools to celebrate their last days in primary education with an end of year prom. 

     

    Year 6 we are all so proud of the individuals you are growing into and wish you all the luck in the world for the future.

  • Tennis Competition - 2018

    Our after school tennis team were victorious today after a morning competition with Ellingham C of E Primary School. Both teams played extremely well, it was a very enjoyable morning.

     

    Congratulations tennis club you won a grand total of 90 quick fire matches. We are all very proud of you, take a look at some of the amazing talent we are lucky enough to have.

  • Sports Day (Year 3,4,5 & 6) - 2018

    We enjoyed our key stage 2 sports day today in fantastic weather. The children took part in many activities and races, including the howler throw, standing long jump, relay and a penalty shoot out. 

     

    Well done to everyone who took part, you all worked extremely hard for your teams.

  • Year 6 High School Visit

    It's that time of year again where we get prepared for the transition into a new school year. This year is a very special year for Seahouses Primary School as it is the first time we have sent children to Alnwick Duchess's High School.

     

    In preparation for the move, children have had teams from the high school come into school and talk about what they can be expecting and what they can look forward to. The year 6 children also have had the opportunity to take part in a science session at the new site of the Duchess's. 

  • Year 6 London Visit

    Our year 6 children have recently arrived back from a fun filled few days in our capital city London. They had an amazing time seeing the sites and visiting some of London's top attractions. Year 6 shared their stories with the rest of the school and the highlights definitely were the London Eye, Harry Potter World and Matilda the musical.
