06.10.22- World Poetry Day
Today was World Poetry Day and to celebrate we took part in a workshop with Mark Grist, a well-know poet, author and story-teller.

He taught us about Kennings and how to create one of our own.
We learnt that a Kenning is a special type of poem that describes an object or creature without ever using its name- a bit like a riddle!
The poem is made up of a list of descriptions and each description only contains two words.
