From 2D Art to 3D Art
The challenge was to take an animal of our choice and then scale up a small picture of it using the grid method. Once we had done this, we had to rescale it again to make it more lifelike. We used a mixture of collage and pattern work to bring our animals to life.
We then made our animals 3D but joining both sections of the animal together - this was quite tricky. Sometimes our animals didn't want to stand up!
We really enjoyed creating our animals and we think the results look fantastic.
