Halloween at SPS
Fri 21 Oct 2022The were lots of spooky goings on in school this week with plenty of fun and games taking place at our KS2 disco. KS1 enjoyed an afternoon of spooky activities in their fancy dress. The children impressed with their amazing pumpkin carving ideas and designs.

Harvest Festival

Kielder Observatory
Fri 14 Oct 2022The KS1 children enjoyed an amazing workshop from the Kielder Observatory who brought their planetarium dome into the hall to explore the constellations and stars.

Gov Cross - Story Teller
Tue 11 Oct 2022Gov Cross, a professional story teller, visited school this week to retell classic stories to the children. His charisma, enthusiasm and warm manner brought the story telling to life. The children were able to join in with Gav to encourage their own story telling. We hope that this experience will inspire the children's writing skills in their future work.
