    Thu 13 Oct 2011
We held our Harvest Festival on 13th October in our Main Hall. The whole school sang lots of Harvest Songs and each class performed a short piece. There was performances of 'The Enormous Turnip' and 'The Little Red Hen', poetry and songs. The Hall was full of parents who gave everyone a huge round of applause.
  • We have adopted a Daft as a Brush ambulance

    Wed 12 Oct 2011
We were invited by Mr Brian Burnie, who runs the 'Daft as a Brush' Cancer Patient Care Charity, to adopt one of the charities ambulances. The children had to name then design the back of the bus. We chose the name Puffin Express as a puffin is our school emblem. The children from Classes 2 & 3 drew their designs and we all chose the best bits to make up our design. Soon we will see the finished bus and it will start transporting patients quickly afterwards.
We have also designed a booklet for each patient that travels in the ambulance to read and they will receive a christmas card from the school too.
We are very proud to be part of the Daft as a Brush Patient Care Charitable Trust.
