In preparation for the move, children have had teams from the high school come into school and talk about what they can be expecting and what they can look forward to. The year 6 children also have had the opportunity to take part in a science session at the new site of the Duchess's.

    Tue 19 Jun 2018

We have had an amazing day today at Northern Bootcamp HQ. Caroline, Dan and their fantastic team designed and set up a very special day full of activities for us. We learned about nutrition and healthy balanced diets, worked as a team to solve the mystery of Private Ryan who's body parts were unfortunately scattered around the camp grounds as well as completing a range of challenges and obstacle courses.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our day, we would like to thank everyone at Northern Bootcamp for all their hard work and for allowing us to have this experience. We would also like to wish Dan the best of luck with his up and coming challenge of paddling the entire length of Britain in support of the Royal British Legion.
