Poetry Day 2018

National Poetry Day is a UK-wide celebration of poetry taking place every October. In 2018 the theme was Change. In 2019 the theme is Truth.

Years 4 and 5 students decided to focus on the change of attitude of people that use our local beaches. The students hope to raise awareness of the importance of keeping our beaches clean.

Reception and Year 1 performed their favourite poem from the minibeast topic they were working on and years 2 and 3 performed poems based around their literacy topic, revolting rhymes.
