21.09.22- Wilderness Wednesday- Recycling and Reusing

Following on from our Suez workshop, we had a go at sorting different objects based on the materials they were made from. We discussed the properties of these materials and whether they were recyclable or not. This support our future learning on 'materials' in Science. 

We then explored how we could 'reuse' certain objects/ materials. 

We were given the challenge to make plant pots out of old newspapers that may have ended up in people's bins. 

We then filled our paper plant pots with compost and chose either a Snowdrop or Daffodil bulb. 

We really needed to demonstrate perseverance during this task! 

(However, Mrs Neale was a bit of an expert at making them!)

We can't wait to see our bulbs flower in Spring.
