June Visit to Life Science Centre

Visit to the Life Science Centre

This week Y5/6 had the pleasure of visiting the Life Science Centre in Newcastle. During the visit, they got to enjoy a whole host of scientific fun!

The trip began with a workshop where they were able to manoeuvre their own robotic arm, explore magnets and also investigate the quality of Space nappies (also known as a MAGs). Afterwards, they were able to watch a live fossil show all about dinosaurs. Later, they were also treated to their own interactive mission into Space, experiencing the planetarium in all its glory. There were also many opportunities to enjoy the fun, interactive demonstrations and activities set-up all around the centre. The pupils had a fabulous day and definitely fed their scientific curiosity, if only we could have spent a whole week there!
