Exploring Our Local AONB
On Thursday 29th April, Years 3 and 4 worked with Bridie from Mudlarks Beach School to discover, explore and experience our local coast. This day was sponsored by the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to encourage as many children as possible to learn about and enjoy their local AONB. We had a full day of exciting learning including a sensory walk, beach sculpture, rock pooling and building our coast in miniature. We learned so much about our local environment and feel very privileged to live in such a beautiful and unique part of the world. Here are some snapshots of our fantastic day.
