17.05.24 Set designs

The children in Year 5 and 6 have been working very hard on their set designs in DT.  Although, they are not quite finished yet, I thought I would share a taster with you because one of the set designs is based on a book we read in whole class reading this year.  It is set in the rainforest and in one of the scenes an explorer roasted tarantulas as a good source of protein.  This set design comes complete with its own fire and its own tarantulas.  I am so pleased they are not real!
