02.11.22 Reception Come Dine and Read
We loved welcoming our Reception parents in this week to enjoy their 'Come dine and read with me' session.
The parents took part in a short workshop about what reading looks like for the Reception children and expectations for this academic year. The parents were taught how to correctly pronounce the sounds, segments words and blend sounds to read a word.
The parents then enjoyed a roast dinner with their children before heading into the library to cosy up with a book.
