24.05.22 Planting herbs and vegetables
As a school we are trying to become more self sustainable. We have decided to try and grow our own herbs and vegetables.
Today we planted some seedlings into our planters.
We have planted basil, chives, mint, three types of lettuce, carrots, radishes, peas, broccoli, cucumbers and baby corn.
The children are continuing to develop their understanding of how our food grows and the value of growing our own food.
We hope to be able to enjoy our produce in the near future.
