School Council

Welcome to our school council page. 

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community, knowing that they are involved in decisions about the school that affect them. It is made up of elected representatives from each year group. The council meets regularly to discuss issues raised by the children themselves, as well as other matters. Children at Seahouses Primary School know that this is their school and their thoughts and ideas matter.

We are pleased to introduce our School Council and Pupil Voice Team for 2026/27. 

Eco- Council 

New for 2026/27 we have introduced an Eco-council to Seahouses Primary School. They will be responsible for making our school a greener place. Some of the areas we are going to be looking at making some improvements are, recycling, saving electricity and keeping the heat in the building during the winter months. We can't wait to see what initiatives our eco council comes up with in the near future.  

The children expressed that they would like a Halloween Disco with a ‘real DJ’. All the children agreed that would be a great idea! As usual, we have taken their voice into consideration and we will plan a school Halloween Disco. See below for details!
