  • Children's Mental Health Week

    Fri 18 Feb 2022

This year's children's mental health awareness week has been full of learning about why it is invaluable to look after our own mental wellbeing and not just our physical wellbeing.

Each class had different workshops and mindfulness time, which is embedded in our curriculum, to understand how to be present in the moment, to recognise their own growth, how we grow physically and mentally and how using the outdoors can help towards our mental wellbeing.

  • Barter Books Visit

    Thu 17 Feb 2022

This half terms lucky VIR's ( Very Important Reader's) enjoyed their rather soggy trip to Barter Books in Alnwick. However, the rain didn't stop them enjoying an ice cream after choosing their new book from our Barter Books school account. They couldn't put them down, even on the bus on the way back to school. Well done everyone for your enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to reading.
