16.11.23 Science-Evolution & Inheritance
Years 5 and 6 have been learning about Evolution and Inheritance and we carried out part of our data collection outside. The question was: Which moths would have a better chance of survival on the trees in the school grounds? We coloured in a selection of grey moths and black moths. As the black moths blended in more effectively with the trees we collected more of the grey moths. This was what we expected to happen. We enjoyed hiding our moths on the trees for the children (birds) to collect.
