Our jars were on TV for Children in Need on Friday 16th November
Tue 13 Nov 2012Children in Need in our region came from Alnwick Garden on Friday 16th November 2012. Our school was asked to decorate jars so the Alnwick Garden can put tea lights inside them and create a spectacular display on the cascades. These were the opening shots of the BBC coverage from our region. The children from Class 3 all brought jars into school and have spent time decorating them with glass paint with the Children in Need logos and plenty spots! Our jars will join jars from other schools in the region to make a large display. -

The organising committee ran a scarecrow competition with a theme of Olympic Athletes. We entered three scarecrows, one from each class and we were delighted when our school won the trophy for the best entry from a school.
