Visit to Swallow's Smokehouse

We have been uncovering the rich history of Seahouses and our surrounding areas. This week, we explored the lives of the traditional 'Fisher Girls' and reflected on everything we learned during our local visit to Swallow's Smokehouse. In addition, we investigated the history of the North Sunderland Railway and enjoyed a walk along the pathways where the old railway tracks once stood.
