Shadows Investigation

We put our scientific enquiry skills to the test by planning, executing, and concluding our own investigations into shadows, day, and night. Working in teams, the pupils set up custom shadow clocks to track how shadows shift and change throughout the day, discovering how they can be used to tell the time. We had some wonderful predictions before we began, and it was fantastic to watch the children's scientific curiosity grow as the day progressed.
