IGNITE Workshop
Our Visit from IGNITE – Christians around the world
Year 5 and 6 pupils recently enjoyed a wonderful workshop led by the Ignite organisation. During the session, the children travelled "around the globe" to explore different expressions of Christian faith across a variety of cultural contexts, including Eastern Orthodox, Royal African Anglican, the Underground/Hidden Church, and Roman Catholicism. At each immersive setting, pupils engaged in sensory activities—listening to guided talks, viewing photographs, hearing recordings of traditional songs, and exploring authentic religious artefacts. They also applied their comprehension skills to solve challenges at each station, successfully earning stamps to complete their very own "Faith Passports" by the end of the day.
