School Uniform

Please carefully read our uniform policy and summary below to ensure you order the correct uniform, including school shoes and PE kit, for your child.

Uniform Information

We believe that our uniform is an important part of the school identity and that children should wear it every day in school. It is the responsibility of the children and their parents and carers to ensure that they are wearing correct uniform and look smart for school.

Our Seahouses Primary School Uniform is available to order on-line or by order form directly from our suppliers.

Our uniform suppliers are:-

Emblematic Limited

Unit 26,

North Tyne Industrial Estate,

Longbenton,

Tyne & Wear

NE12 9SZ

Telephone Number : 01912701449

On-line Order link  :-  http://studentuniform.co.uk/sfs133

Your order will be delivered directly to your home.

All other items of uniform which cannot be bought from Emblematic can be sourced from chain stores and supermarkets although we would advise against buying the cheapest option as it is usually proves to be false economy. We have found through experience that better quality clothing tends to last longer through repeated washing and wearing.

In door shoes

All children are expected to change from their outdoor shoes when entering the building into a pair of black, indoor shoes.  During playtimes children are able to change back into their outdoor shoes.

Jewellery

Due to health and safety reasons jewellery should not be worn. However it is recognised that some children have pierced ears. These children may wear small studs (less than 4mm wide) which they need to be able to remove themselves for PE and swimming.

Pre loved Uniform

The school holds second-hand school uniforms which are given free of charge for parents. Access to pre loved uniforms are available upon request all year round. We also offer a ‘Swap Shop’ at school events such as Sports Day and at the end of the school year. Parents are encouraged to donate their child’s uniform when they no longer need it.
