13.03.25 Step Into The NHS

Children in Class 3  took part in the 'Step Into the NHS Day'. 

The day kicked off with a  livestream assembly, where the children had the fantastic opportunity to meet NHS staff in real time. This interactive session allowed them to hear firsthand about the diverse careers available in the NHS, which boasts over 350 different roles!

They engaged in a variety of fun activities designed to boost their understanding of career options within this vital organisation. They enthusiastically identified their own strengths and reflected on any obstacles they might face in pursuing their dream careers. It was heartening to see them considering their future paths as doctors, nurses, and even behind-the-scenes support staff.

The whole experience was not only educational but also inspiring. It introduced the children to the importance of the NHS and the myriad of opportunities it offers. We hope this initiative encourages our young minds to think about their futures and perhaps even consider a career within the NHS one day!
