07.03.25 Science Club Animals & Skeletons
We are thrilled that the Life Centre Science Club is embarking on a fantastic journey with our children, delivering a series of four engaging science clubs!
The first session for Class 3 focused on the fascinating world of animals and their skeletons. The children began by investigating a variety of animal tracks, using classification keys to sort and identify them. It was a real eye-opener and sparked great curiosity among the young scientists! They delved into how different animals adapt to survive in their unique habitats, which led to an exciting hands-on activity. Each child had the chance to design and create their very own amazing animals that fit a specific habitat brief.
As the morning progressed, the students explored the structure of skeletons, piecing together jigsaw puzzles to better understand how they work. They examined various animal teeth, learning to identify which animals they belonged to and even got to handle a range of real teeth! The session was not only informative but also a whole lot of fun, leaving the children buzzing with excitement and eager for the next club. We can't wait to see what the next sessions have in store!
