  • Living Eggs

    Mon 07 Mar 2016

Our Living Eggs have arrived today! We have 10 eggs in our special incubator, they are nice and warm and waiting to hatch out.

At 2.45pm on Tuesday 8th March we had our first chick hatch out. Overnight on Tuesday another chick hatched just before school on Wednesday and we managed to video our third chicks arrival. No 4 arrived just after lunch on Wednesday 9th March.

When we arrived into school on Thursday morning a further 4 chicks had hatched. During Thursday morning the last two chicks arrived.

We are so happy that all 10 chicks have hatched and are now living together under a lamp in our small hall.

They are going home with Mrs Smith over the weekend so she can look after them and will be back with us on Monday morning.

  • World Book Day 2016

    Thu 03 Mar 2016

It was World Book Day on 3rd March 2016. The children were invited to come to school dressed up as a character from a favourite book. The children also brought in their books and a shoebox with clues for others in their class to try and guess which book it was.

Staff also dressed up as book characters. It was a very exciting day which the children will remember.
