  • 'Prickly Hay' Christmas Performance

    Fri 14 Dec 2012
Our Christmas performance of 'Prickly Hay' this year was a tribute to the hard work put in by both children and staff to make sure we could go ahead with the Play. The winter virus which is affecting the whole country meant that we never had the same children at any practice we had. This being the case we decided to only have one performance instead of the scheduled two and to just go with the children who were at school on that day. So on Tuesday 11th December we practised in the morning, had a dress rehearsal in the afternoon and performed the play at 6pm that evening. That day will be a memorable one for everyone involved and the children really rose to the occasion, with a full house of parents and friends in the evening giving the children a huge round of applause in appreciation. We held a raffle on the door and raised £ 237.00.
  • Christmas Crafts and Bingo Night

    Fri 07 Dec 2012
We held our Christmas crafts and Bingo night in the Main School Hall on Friday 7th December. It was very successful and despite many of our school community being affected by the winter virus lots of children and parents turned out to support us. The children have been making Christmas Crafts over the past few weeks and were very proud to seel them to their parents. On the night we raised        £ 524.75, which on a freezing winter's night was excellent.
