  • Mudlarks - Year 6 2019

    Fri 28 Jun 2019

Year 6 children had lots of fun exploring the beach yesterday with other year 6 students from Belford Primary School. The children took part in team building exercises including den building and treasure hunting. The day was planned to help further introduce both groups of children for their transition to high school.

We would like to thank Helen and Bridie from Mudlarks for organsing this lovely day.

Take a look at some extra pictures in Year 6 class pages.

  • Musical Roots - Alnwick Gardens 2019

    Wed 26 Jun 2019

Class 2 had a fantastic afternoon in Alnwick Gardens yesterday afternoon celebrating the musical talent of children across Northumberland. This year class 2 have been learning to play samba rhythms on the drums with Steve from 'Music Partnership North'. The children have made fantastic progress this year and were able to show off their new drumming skills by performing their very own version of 'The Greatest Show' from 'The Greatest Showman' with our very own special guest Ethan from Year 6!

We would like to say a big thank you to the Alnwick Gardens and Music Partnership North who planned this inspiring event!

    Thu 13 Jun 2019

Year 5/ 6 children unravelled forces fact from fiction when Centre for Life visited Seahouses Primary School on Thursday 13th June. Pupils participated in a range of mathematical challenges and enthralling scientific experiments putting their knowledge and enquiry skills to the test, using exciting resources and equipment. The mind-blowing ‘Mega Machines’ workshop was the highlight of the day. The children explored the effect of mechanisms and applied knowledge gained from earlier investigations to build a marvellous chain reaction machine culminating in an adult receiving a custard pie to the face!
